Greetings:

The APA Student (APAS) chapter at the University of Colorado - Denver has a mission to provide Masters of Urban and Regional Planning (MURP) students with a variety of opportunities to influence and further the development of their careers through engagement with their peers, faculty, alumni, the University, planning professionals and our Colorado community.

Our vision is to facilitate student engagement by streamlining and strengthening communication outlets, provide MURP students with a variety of career development opportunities, continue fostering relationships in the planning community at the University and beyond, and continue to improve the student experience for current and future UC Denver MURP students.

APAS will host monthly meetings on-campus, social and networking events, and facilitate a job shadowing program and technical skills workshops as ways to create community within the MURP program as well as with the greater planning community.
