The American Institute of Certified Planners provides the only nationwide, independent verification of planners' qualifications. Certified planners pledge to uphold high standards of practice, ethics, and professional conduct and to keep their skills sharp and up to date by continuously pursuing advanced professional education.

APA Colorado Encourages All Planners to Become AICP Certified

Through our Professional Development Officer, APA Colorado can help you navigate the AICP requirements for testing and continuing education.  We offer assistance through preparation workshops, other resources, and connections to study groups. 

We are also a Certification Maintenance (CM) provider and strive to offer as many CM-approved workshops, events, seminars, and conferences at no or low costs to our membership.  We have partnered with other organizations to bring our members even more opportunities for CM. Check out a list of upcoming opportunities where CM credits may be available.
