Session Submission Information

APA Colorado is committed to building a diverse, well-balanced, and high-quality conference program. To ensure a fair and thorough review process, we encourage you to provide detailed information about your proposed session. Clear, comprehensive descriptions allow the review committee to fully understand your concept, evaluate its strengths, and thoughtfully compare it alongside other submissions. Incomplete proposals may limit the committee’s ability to assess your session.

We invite you to share your successes, lessons learned, ongoing challenges, and even the questions that still need answers. This conference is a space to reflect together, think critically about how we move forward, and support one another in advancing Colorado’s communities.

The review committee looks forward to reviewing your session proposals for the 2026 Colorado Planning Conference!

The Session Proposal Form asks for:

  • Session topic, length, type (presentation, workshop, or roundtable), and target audience
  • Session title, description (max 75 words), and outline
  • If your session will meet CM criteria (see the qualities of a CM-eligible activity here)
  • Speaker information (name, title, company/organization, and email address) for all confirmed speakers. Note: If your session is selected and additional speakers need to be added, or if speaker details change, APA Colorado will work with you to coordinate and confirm those updates.

Questions? Please contact us at Info@APAColorado.org.
