Legislative Committee

During the legislative session, the APA Colorado Legislative Committee works with our Legislative Liaison to review bills that pertain to planning.

This year’s legislative session was interesting and full of work for the Legislative Committee to ensure APA Colorado’s interests and priorities are represented. Please join us next year to discuss our initial thoughts on Legislative Priorities, Planners Day at the Capitol, and some potential committee assignments.

We gathered to learn about important legislation that was introduced in 2024. Then, small groups met directly with legislators to inform them of APA's perspectives on key bills and promote good planning practices.
