2024 APA Colorado Legislative Priorities
APA Colorado supports state level policies that leverage planners’ actionable insights.
From expanding housing options to ensuring transportation reduces our climate impact, planners are supporting communities’ housing production goals and delivering diverse, attainable, and equitable housing choice.

Our priorities this year include:

These priorities were determined through direct feedback from APA Colorado members through a survey conducted in October 2023. Developed by the APA Colorado Legislative Committee, these policies were approved by the APA Colorado Board of Directors.

The Colorado Chapter of the American Planning Association (APA Colorado) is an organization of nearly 1,500 professional and citizen planners dedicated to preserving and creating great communities throughout Colorado.
