Under general supervision, the Associate Planner-Comprehensive Planning is responsible for managing long range planning projects, special projects, code development and review, and updates to the Town’s Master Plan.  The below list is intended to be illustrative of the responsibilities of this position and is not all encompassing.

  • Performs a variety of diverse, long-range planning projects;
  •  Reviews and recommends revisions to land-use codes and related ordinances; 
  • Prepares technical reports, makes presentations, and recommendations to elected officials, task forces, and community groups;
  • Conducts land use, demographics, economics, and other research and analysis activities on a broad range of community and planning subject; and
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
