The Mountain Valley Transit (MVT) Board of Directors is seeking an Executive Director to direct, manage, and expand transit and mobility management services within Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) Transportation Planning Region (TPR) 8. Counties represented in the region include Alamosa, Chaffee, Conejos, Costilla, Mineral, Rio Grande, and Saguache Counties.

Independently provide strategic leadership and management of all organization programs, systems, people and processes. Incumbent is also responsible for various strategic activities including but not limited to development and implementation of strategies for effective execution of Mountain Valley Transit mission and goals in alignment with the Colorado Department of Transportation seven-county San Luis Valley Transportation Planning Region (TPR). This includes directing, expanding, and managing the expansion of transit and mobility management services. Responsible for the management of assigned staff, including oversight for the effective completion of assigned tasks, and execution of performance management in accordance with company policies and procedures.
