The Planner II is responsible for the review and coordination of development proposals, as well as long-range planning. This position critically reviews land use development applications for compliance with the Town Code, the Comprehensive Plan, and district design standards, preparing staff reports and making public presentations to appropriate groups. The Senior Planner reviews the most complex development applications and serves as team leader for major Community Development Projects, acting as a mentor to less experienced team members. This position prepares and recommends code and ordinance revisions and performs other long-range planning functions.
