AICP Exam

Interested in taking the AICP exam or submitting your professional planning experience in 2026? The certification window will open in May. Join APA for one of their AICP Office Hours to learn about One Path to AICP. Visit the Get Started page to register for these events. You’ll also find helpful checklists at the bottom of the page to guide you through each step. Feel free to email aicp@planning.org if you have any questions.

AICP Certification Scholarship

The AICP Certification Scholarship application window opens in May, with recipients selected in June. Scholarships may be applied toward either the exam or the experience assessment.
