APA Colorado is looking for a co-chair for the Healthy and Resilient Communities Committee! Responsibilities include preparing agendas for meetings, attending and running committee meetings, and working on various tasks from the Chapter Strategic Plan. Interested or have questions? What We Do

This committee brings together planners and allied professionals to promote policies, practices, and partnerships that advance public health, sustainability, climate resilience, and environmental equity across Colorado. In addition to organizing learning opportunities, the committee serves as a technical resource to APA Colorado members and communities.

Tasks:

  • Develop and share best practices, case studies, and model policies as appropriate
  • Provide technical guidance and resources to the Chapter and allied partners
  • Host events and training opportunities for the Chapter and allied partners
  • Collaborate with external partners

Who should participate?

APA Colorado members and allied professionals with an interest in these topics and related fields.

What are the time requirements to join?

This committee meets virtually approximately every other month for one hour. In between meetings, committee members work on various tasks and programs with varied time requirements. We have something for everyone!
