The Planner I is the entry-level role in the Planner series and performs a wide variety of municipal planning functions, including land use planning, research, administration associated with development review, answers incoming daily planning questions from the public over the phone, and completes ancillary land use and development review and support functions. The Planner I works under the supervision of the Director to carry out assigned duties, functions, roles, and projects in both routine and complex circumstances.
