This position manages and coordinates the Arapahoe County energy program with an emphasis on environmental stewardship, including oil and gas, solar, wind, geothermal, energy distribution, energy storage, and other energy production.  Supervises energy program staff.  Applies extensive and diversified technical knowledge across broad areas of assignment.  Ensures that Arapahoe County is a leader in the management of energy-related land uses.

Education & Experience:

We are seeking candidates with a background in planning, geography, environmental planning, petroleum engineering, geology, or another related field. 

At least six (6) years of relevant work experience that includes solar and/or oil and gas planning, project managmeent, or land use entitlements. An equivalent combination of education and work experience that satisfy the requirements of the job may be considered.
